Jennifer D. Shirey, CPA, MA
Jennifer has over 20 years of tax and accounting experience in the public and private sectors. Over the last 8 years she has specialized in providing tax compliance and consulting services to high net worth individuals as well as trust and estates. Jennifer's tax experience also includes work in the area of pass-through entities, corporations and non-profits. Prior to joining Atkinson, Harris, & Hart, Jennifer worked at James River Corporation in the corporate tax and treasury departments, and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
What Jennifer enjoys the most about working at Atkinson, Harris, & Hart is the personal attention she can provide in working with the clients and assisting them in navigating the complex area of taxation. She feels this type of special attention is the catalyst of Atkinson, Harris & Hart's client service philosophy.

R. Paul Childress, III, CPA, MT
Paul has over 11 years of experience in public accounting, providing tax services for individuals, trusts, estates, and closely held businesses. Paul specializes in working with high net worth families and their businesses, assisting in income tax planning, estate planning and business planning.
Prior to becoming a CPA, Paul worked for 5 years in the financial service industry helping high net worth clients with investment solutions and financial planning.
The things that Paul enjoys most about working at Atkinson, Harris & Hart are the connections he establishes with his clients and the satisfaction he gets from helping them solve their problems.

M. Dewayne Dickerson, CPA, MAcc
Dewayne has over 18 years of related tax experience in public accounting providing tax services for individuals, estates, trusts, and various forms of business entities, as well as contract work experience in the tax department of some large US corporations. He also has experience in compilations, reviews and audits. Dewayne has experience working with clients in the following industries, including but not limited to: automotive, construction, entertainment, farming, healthcare, investment banking, broadcast journalism, professional sports, residential and commercial real estate, restaurants, retail, and timber management to name a few. He enjoys working with high net worth clientele, as well as smaller boutique businesses and unique individuals no matter their income level.
Dewayne receives a sense of accomplishment and gratification from helping his clients reach their financial goals, no matter what end of the spectrum they are at in their lives, be it college students to those who may have reached their golden years and are now enjoying the fruits of their labor in their retirement years.
Dewayne enjoys interacting one-on-one with his clients, providing a personal touch while finding ways to help them increase their bottom line, and reach their long-term financial goals through proper and timely tax planning.
